My Typical Day:

There’s quite a lot of variety. If it’s a fieldwork day I’ll be out in the forest collecting insects! If it’s a teaching day then I might give a lecture to 100 students on a topic such as climate change and biodiversity, and perhaps a small-group tutorial with a pair of students where we discuss a topic in depth. I’ll spend some time discussing work plans with my work colleagues, and on the computer analysing data or putting the finishing touches to a scientific paper to report our latest results.
